Kelly

Lyra and Aerial Silks Instructor

Kelly took her first pole class in 2010, followed by a mixed apparatus aerial class in 2011. After a long hiatus, she finally revisited aerial fitness when she began classes at Aerial Dragonfly in the summer of 2017 and hasn’t stopped flying since. Kelly enjoys learning and experimenting with every aerial apparatus the studio has to offer, but lyra in particular indulges her joy of spinning and circular movements.

Her full-time career as a technical writer requires the ability to make complex ideas easy to understand, making aerial instruction a natural fit where her hobbies and professional skills intersect. Kelly loves to find beauty in the shapes and movements of the human body. When she isn’t in the aerial studio, she can be found painting and drawing in her art studio or curling up with a lap full of cats, her pit bull, and a good book.
